Our Founders
Welcome to a Speak Out New York, where speech therapy goes beyond just words—it embraces the entire person.
At our supportive and intimate space in Tribeca, clients receive holistic, highly tailored treatment plans that go beyond the surface of speech and language: By incorporating mindfulness, nutrition and movement, our clients experience transformative changes.
Founders Vickie Bageorgos Necakov and Trisha Konstantinou met while pursuing their Masters degrees in Science at New York Medical College in 2000, where they quickly became study buddies and life-long friends. After extensive training in medically-based speech and language pathology, they founded their private practice, Speak Out New York, in 2006 to help clients thrive in a supportive environment that feels like home.
As mothers themselves, Vickie and Trisha are deeply committed to the families they work with: Speak Out NY sessions combine efficiency with empathy, accompanied by action plans that parents can easily implement at home.
